This game looks like it has great potential.  Version 0.5.2 is the first one I attempted.  Unfortunately, all I am allowed to do is to train one slave at a time.  I cannot explore.  I cannot upgrade my mansion.  I cannot purchase anything other than one slave at a time.  I am assuming that I have to train a slave before more features open up, which brings me to the main problem.  Despair goes up with pretty much all forms of punishment and is impossible to bring back down.  Reassuring is the only thing that helps, but one can only use this once.  Gifts and compliments, which are supposed to lower despair, actually lower obedience instead.

It's as if I was playing a demo version of the game with very little implemented.

Can someone explain what I am doing wrong?
